Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

The Sacramento Street shopping district covers 12 blocks between Pacific Heights and Presidio Heights with many unique stores and top restaurants. St Frank specializes in artwork and artisanal home goods. Browsing the collection at St Frank is a great way to find items to give your home a unique vibe.


Michelin-starred Spruce offers one of SF’s premier dining experiences. This beautifully designed restaurant has soaring cathedral ceilings and a skylight under which diners can enjoy the finest in seasonal Californian cooking. Things to Do

One of the best things about living in each of these neighborhoods is being close to the Presidio. This 1,500-acre national park is located at the southern end of the Golden Gate Bridge and has many scenic viewpoints for observing San Francisco’s most iconic structure. Miles of trails wind through the Presidio’s diverse habitats of rolling hills, sprawling lawns, sandy beaches, and peaceful wooded areas. The converted U.S. Army airfield of Crissy Field at the Presidio is a favorite hangout area with picnic spots, tidal wetlands, a sandy bayfront beach, and a nature center. The Presidio’s Letterman Digital Arts Center is home to Lucasfilm and features lots of props, memorabilia, and statues related to the Star Wars film series.


Other local landmarks near these neighborhoods include the Lyon Street Steps, a steep staircase at the Presidio’s edge with captivating views over the city, bay, and bridge. The historic 1820s Emanu-El temple is home to one of California’s oldest Jewish congregations. A $79 million renovation project beginning in 2020 will update the historic temple’s facilities for the modern day. The Emanu-El temple site also has a museum dedicated to Jewish history and art.
